This Privacy Policy describes how the Gochew mobile application (hereinafter referred to as "the application," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and shares the personal information of its users (hereinafter referred to as "you" or "your"). By using our application, you agree to the collection and use of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Personal Information

We do not collect personal information that directly identifies you unless you choose to provide it by creating an account, such as your first name or email address when you sign up to receive notifications or updates.

1.2 Usage Information

We collect information about your use of the application, including but not limited to:

  • The restaurants you view.
  • The features you use.
  • GPS-based location data (geographic region) for usage analytics and regional bug diagnosis.

  • Improve our application and its features.
  • Send you push and emails regarding updates and other relevant information.

3.1 With Third Parties

We do not share your personal information with third parties, except in the following cases:

  • With our service partners (RevenueCat, Firebase, Google Places) to help us analyze the use of the application, error reports, and to send notifications. These partners are required to protect your information and to use it only for the purposes specified in this policy.
  • If required by law or if we believe in good faith that it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation or to protect our rights.

4. Data Retention

Your personal data is retained for the duration of your use of the service. Upon account deletion, all associated personal data is immediately deleted from our systems as well as from third-party services used, except where retention is required by law (e.g., billing records maintained in accordance with applicable tax obligations).

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, modification, disclosure, or destruction.

In accordance with applicable law, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

7. Children

The Gochew application is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a child, we will take steps to delete it.

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. We will inform you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and notifying you by email.
